Policies

All services require a scheduled appointment, including nail trims. 


Communications

In order to insure that there are no scheduling mistakes and maintain a healthy work / life balance I will only return messages / phone calls when I have my schedule readily available and time to make sure you receive proper service. 

In order to make sure each pet receives 100% of my attention I do not answer calls while I have a dog on my table. Please feel free to leave a voicemail or preferably send a text and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

I will also no longer be returning messages or calls after 8pm. 

Pet Behavior

All Dogs should be manageable by a single person. I am after all a one woman show. I have top of the line equipment to handle dogs of any size but if your dog is too aggressive or combative to be groomed safely without assistance your dog will be sent home. You will still be responsible for paying for any services that are completed.

Payment

Payment is due immediately upon completion of services. 

Cash and Venmo are preferred to avoid credit card processing fees but I can take Credit or Debit if necessary.

 If you are a new client I will do my best to give you the most accurate quote possible but please be aware that there may be additional fees for things that were not immediately apparent such as matting, behavior and of course late drop off or pick up fees.

My prices are non negotiable. 

Itemized receipts are delivered via Email. You must provide your email on the New Client form in order to receive itemized receipts.

Hourly Rates 

Due to the nature of running a one on one business I try my best to keep each pet's appointment under 2 hours. If your pet cannot be completed within a normal 2 hour time slot they will be subject to an hourly rate of 50$ an hour or 60$ an hour if they are severely matted or impacted. 

You will only be charged for time where I am actively working on your dog. Time for breaks will be omitted. 

You will be charged in 5 minute intervals rounded down. For example if your pet takes 2 hours and 43 minutes it will be rounded down to 2 hours 40 minutes and you will be charged 133$

Drop off / Pick Up Procedure

Both drop off and pick will be done at the front door.

You may text or ring the bell and I will be with you as soon as possible. Please be patient as my salon is on the other side of the house.

Late Drop off or Pick up 

I try my best to schedule my appointments to minimize overlap so that each pet can have as close to 100% of my attention as possible. Late drop offs or pick ups can throw off my entire schedule and ruin my work flow. 

Pets should be dropped off no earlier than 10 minutes than their appointment time.

When your pet is complete or nearly complete you will be notified. It is expected that your pet is to be picked up within 30 minutes of their completion. Please plan accordingly. You will be charged 5$ for every 15 minutes past the scheduled pick up time.

If you are more than 15 minutes late to drop off your pet you may be asked to reschedule.  You will be charged an additional 10$ late fee.

Cancellations

Cancellations can be made at least 24 hours ahead of time with no charge. 

Last minute cancellations will result in a 15$ fee on your next service with exceptions for reasonable emergencies and weather.

No Call No Show - Failure to show up to your scheduled appointment without any notification will result in a 20$ fee on your next service and you will be expected to pay that as a deposit in order to book your next service. I have a strict 3 strikes you're out policy meaning you will no longer be welcome to book services with me after your third No call no show.

Matted Dogs

I DO NOT DEMATT DOGS.

Any dog that is matted to a point where it must be pre-shaved or takes an excessive amount of time to prep for the bath your appointment may be subject to a matting fee. I do not dematt severely matted dogs. Any dog that is matted over 20% of its body will be shaved for their comfort and well being. In cases of severe matting you will be required to sign a matted liability waiver outlining the issues and injuries that can be caused by severe matting and the removal of the matting. 


Sick / Injured / Fleas

I will not groom your dog if it is obviously sick or injured. Any sick or injured pet will require a note from their vet clearing them for grooming.

I do not treat fleas. If you know your pet has fleas please do not book an appointment. Though my grooming space is separate from the rest of the house I cannot risk infestation. If fleas are found on your pet you will be asked to retrieve them immediately. You will still be responsible for any services that are completed. 


Vaccinations 

Your pet must be up to date on Rabies and it is advised that they remain up to date on all other vet recommended vaccines.
